Position: Rector (full time)
Faith Community: Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church
Location: Warsaw, Indiana
Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church is a caring church family with a strong history of hospitality, fellowship, and care for each other. As we have embarked on our search for a full-time rector, we have spent several months listening carefully to each other, uncovering a multitude of ways we experience the presence of God in our lives.
We have reviewed our history, examined the present and prayed for the future for our common life in this place. This opportunity to uncover strengths and to own weaknesses has afforded us a stronger, more authentic view of what our church family is being called to do.
Saint Anne’s intentionally engaged in the process of learning how to better discuss differences among our church family. Our congregation is a blend of generations, of conservative and progressive values, and of high church and low church proponents. We pray that this profile is a reflection of who we are and who we hope to become. We are a church family that strives to benefit from our diverse viewpoints, which also adds richness to our community.
View our profile to discover our values, what we are hoping for in our future, and what we hope our next rector will share with us in terms of leadership, pastoral care, teaching and preaching, and helping our members discern their own spiritual gifts and how they can use them to help build the body of Christ in this place.
This is a great time to be at Saint Anne’s. It’s a great time to live in Warsaw, Indiana. Warsaw is nestled in the heart of an area of 100 lakes, and Saint Anne’s has been an important part of this community since 1950. We are continuing to grow our impact in the community through outreach programs and projects and we want to grow our congregation as well. Thank you for reading this profile, and for your prayerful discernment. Peace be with you

Position: Supply-plus Priest
Faith Community: Grace Episcopal Church
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
We are an inclusive community that respects the dignity of every human being. Therefore, whoever you are in terms of race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability, and wherever you are on your faith journey, we welcome you and hope you will give us the opportunity to be your spiritual home. We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Creator, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We are an open, loving, forgiving, accepting congregation, following the example of Jesus Christ.
Standing tall on Liberty Mills Road, our sanctuary is a warm and welcoming place in the upscale subdivisions of Aboite Township in lovely southwest Fort Wayne. Grace is a place where everyone is welcome, hence our sign over the entry to the Nave—”We Are a House of Prayer for All Peoples.”
In interviews with visitors and new attendees, one thing always is mentioned: Grace’s welcoming atmosphere. We have continued to attract new members over the years. Many people report that they have tried out other churches but none have the same feeling of home that Grace has. That feeling of home is evident in the sign in our yard, the sign over the entry to the Nave, and the invitation for all who are seeking Christ to receive communion.
Our city is a prosperous community of about 400,000 souls and the second largest in Indiana. It is near the top of lists of best places to retire in the U.S. based on employment opportunities and the affordability of housing. Surrounded by an interstate ring it is easy to get places. Shopping, sports facilities, and recreation are convenient. Whether you’re looking to eat American, Indiana, Thai, Italian, healthy or not, Fort Wayne is also known for our variety of restaurants. From steakhouses and seafood to pizza and pubs, our city has a wide variety of places to eat. Grace is ideally located close to shopping, healthcare (Lutheran Hospital) and interstate access. While these are but a few of the many pluses of our location, what really sets Grace apart is the extraordinary welcoming tone and upbeat hands-on attitude of this remarkably capable community of faith that truly does show the unmerited love of God—GRACE—to all here.

Position: Interim Rector
Faith Community: Trinity Episcopal Church
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Trinity Episcopal Church is seeking an Interim Rector to work collaboratively with our staff, and community to serve our growing, prayerful, and dedicated downtown parish. Trinity is a vibrant, transitional sized parish with a commitment to loving God and loving our neighbors. Ministering in Fort Wayne for more than 180 years, Trinity is a community with a rich history that informs but does not define our future. We are in a season of discernment and visioning – as we explore where the Holy Spirit is calling us next. As a community we are excited about what is next as we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our neighborhood.
Throughout the year Trinity offers two masses on Sundays, as well as Morning Prayer and Mass during the week. We are blessed with a strong choral music program that offers Evensong and services of Lessons and Carols during the year. Seasonally, we have offered a Contemplative Eucharist, Daily Office Prayer Camp, and the Rosary. Our liturgies are broad to high church, but we do have historic Anglo-Catholic roots that influence seasonal liturgies. We have strong ties with local non-profits and ecumenical ministries.
Fort Wayne is consistently rated one of the top cities to raise a family. The children’s zoo, Ft. Wayne Trail System, Tincaps baseball stadium, local theatre, and riverfront are second to none. The city is also host to a number of local restaurants, coffee shops, and microbreweries. It offers easy access to Indianapolis, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Detroit.
